Voices of Reason
There are not many voices of reason out there – or that’s what the mainstream media wants us to think – and it seems like all the news is about how Congress is working with Obama for ‘change’.
That might not be the unintended pun that it seems since pretty soon a lot of Americans will be wearing placards that say ‘Will work for change’…
If you’ve ever read history you will be marveling at how the US is following the same self-defeating pattern that Rome pursued into oblivion and wondering why no one else sees the writing on the wall.
One US politician does see the writing and what’s more he is able to read it.
Ron Paul is actually one of the few lone voices out there talking sense. It’s heartening and somewhat depressing to read his regular articles on his site and see him on the news channels – heartening because he makes such great sense and at least there is someone in Congress still capable of thinking; depressing because what he has to say should be being said by the mainstream media – not just one lone voice.
