Gay Marriage is The Same As Dry Water
[ad#toppostwrap]
If you’re following the news in the US where various states are passing legislation to permit gay couples to marry, you could be forgiven for thinking we’ve reached the height of social insanity and the civilization is now about to melt-down completely.
I mean let’s be frank: a homosexual or a lesbian is a casualty of an emotional catastrophe on the same order as the type of upheaval that produces serial killers, kleptomaniacs or socio-paths. Or to put it as nicely as possible, people who stutter.
Our entire species depends totally on members of the male sex procreating with members of the female sex, after all that’s how we all got here and the only way we can continue. The civilization is therefore comprised in its most basic sense of the products of heterosexuals. In fact it may not be too much to assert that the fundamental structure of the civilization depends utterly on the ability and willingness of heterosexuals to perform their most basic physiological functions.
Let’s narrow this down even further – the only reason I am able to be writing this and you’re able to be reading it is because two heterosexuals got it together at some point in the past to produce each of us.
We can run this idea forward from the first baby to the existence of cell phones and plasma screen TVs because everything derives from individuals who are at least emotionally well-enough to recognize what sex they are, and free enough of mental distress to be able to engage in useful relationships with members of the opposite sex and thereby contribute constructively to the society of which they are a part. I mean, you don’t have to think too hard to understand that a society is created by family units existing in coordination with each other, and that a family unit depends on the existence of male and female parents.
Marriage is the social mechanism that permits enough security and persistence of support of offspring to allow said offspring to become future citizens. It’s a generally recognized fact that children from broken marriages – or environments where these nurturing qualities are or become absent – become themselves less able to create their own secure relationships and many sociologists consider this failure of the family unit to be one of the persuasive causes for criminality and anti-social behavior.
So what can we possibly expect from a marriage that doesn’t even include the natural function of male and female procreation?
Men cannot get pregnant and have babies; neither can women without being fertilized by a male. What’s the confusion here? The extension of the act of procreation is the marriage and the family. Legislating that gay couples can marry is not going to magically cure them of the deep-seated fear and resentment that they feel towards members of the other sex. It is the equivalent of legislating that cancer is normal function of a healthy body, that pyromania is a jolly good urge to make others feel warm and that Hitler was really good for mankind.
The scariest part of this is the idea that a gay couple, sanctioned by this ludicrous redefinition of marriage, should be permitted to adopt and raise children. It’s hard to imagine a crueler fate for any child, and again it’s the equivalent of putting pedophiles in charge of a kindergarten.
Homosexuals and lesbians deserve compassion for their emotional impairments and their inability to enjoy the fruits of a normal relationship. They already have a hard enough time of it as it is, decreeing that their debilitating condition is somehow normal only does harm to them and society in general.
